Responsibilities
- Generate new business through inbound leads, referrals, and outbound prospecting
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Quote, bind, and issue policies in compliance with state and carrier guidelines
- Maintain and grow a personal book of business
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Follow up with prospects and clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Accurately document client interactions and policy details in CRM systems
- Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
Requirements
- Active insurance license required or ability to obtain and maintain licensing
- Prior insurance sales experience preferred (P&C, Life, or Health a plus)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and insurance software
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework a plus)
