Employer Industry: Agriculture Research and Cooperative Services Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $92,040 Opportunity for career advancement and growth within a Fortune 250 company Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) Supportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on training and development Flexible remote work opportunity with a requirement to be located in the Bismarck, ND area What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Maintain and prepare research plots, including planting, maintaining, spraying, and harvesting Conduct crop scouting to evaluate weed control, insect infestations, and disease outbreaks Train and guide summer interns to achieve operational goals and maintain quality Assist the research manager with planning and organizing research site activities Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in collaboration with the safety team What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree strongly desired; experience may be considered in lieu of degree Up to 2 years of small plot or agricultural retail experience or relevant internship experience Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL and Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and as part of a team; valid driver’s license required How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Previous experience operating farm or research equipment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions Experience in critical thinking and problem solving in a research setting We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
