Why consider this job opportunity: Salary range up to $92,040 Opportunity for career advancement within a Fortune 250 company Remote/virtual role with flexibility for candidates in the Bismarck, ND area Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) Supportive work environment recognized as a Top Workplace by Indeed and LinkedIn What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Maintain and prepare research plots for planting, spraying, and harvesting Conduct crop scouting to evaluate and address weed control, insect infestations, and disease outbreaks Train and guide summer interns in achieving operational goals and quality standards Assist in planning and organizing research site activities, including contracts and operational plans Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper documentation for transportation and equipment use What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree strongly desired; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree Up to 2 years of experience in small plot agriculture or agricultural retail Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL and Pesticide Applicators License within the first 60 days of employment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy for operating company vehicles How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Previous experience operating farm or research equipment Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written interactions Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
