Northwest Partners is looking for an AI Automation Engineer who's passionate about designing and deploying AI-driven process automation solutions. This role focuses on building AI agents that replace repetitive, rules-based workflows across core business areas such as finance, insurance, and operations.

What YOU will do
Build and deploy AI bots to automate repetitive corporate workflows
Design solutions that read and interpret emails, PDFs, and spreadsheets
Apply business rules and thresholds to guide AI decision-making
Automate end-to-end processes such as invoice processing, financial reconciliations, and internal reporting
Integrate automation systems with downstream platforms such as ERP, CRM, and ticketing tools
Leverage orchestration tools and APIs to support robust, scalable automation

What YOU will bring us
4+ years of experience in Python backend development
Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph
Familiarity with AI models and APIs (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic)
Strong understanding of enterprise data workflows and system structures
Experience integrating AI functionality into production environments
Proficiency in tools such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Airflow or Temporal, REST APIs, and webhooks
