AI/ML Engineer Atlanta, GA / Hybrid Blu Omega is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to support a federal program focused on advancing artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for designing and deploying scalable AI solutions. The position requires experience supporting machine learning, Generative AI, and related modern tools. Key Details Location: 575 Morosgo Drive, Atlanta, GA / Hybrid Work Authorization: US or GC Schedule: Onsite 1-2 days a week if local to Atlanta Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI solutions. Build and enhance Generative AI, LLM, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation applications, including chatbot and conversational AI capabilities. Develop and optimize data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and data processing solutions using Python, SQL, and Spark. Implement and support MLOps practices, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management with tools such as MLflow and Azure cloud services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused AI/ML solutions while staying current on emerging technologies and industry best practices. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models. 3+ years of experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or RAG applications. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python for ML and data engineering. Experience with SQL for data manipulation and feature engineering. Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark. Experience with Databricks and MLOps tools like MLflow. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably in Azure. Ability to communicate effectively and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to problem solve and stay current with emerging ML trends. Preferred Qualifications Experience with full-stack development or deploying end-to-end ML applications. Experience with chatbot development or conversational AI. Experience fine-tuning large models. Knowledge of deploying ML solutions using MLOps pipelines. Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools like JIRA. Compensation Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
