PAY RATE: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Summary:
-
Use computer for production tasks, referencing technical instructions, drawings, and specifications
-
Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications
-
Install aircraft components, including panels
-
Wear appropriate protective gear as required
-
Operate various mechanical lifts (e.g., ladders, tiger lifts, snorkel lifts)
-
Utilize tools like rivet guns, bucking bars, power screwdrivers, C-squeezes, nut runners, and other hand tools
-
Work with chemical solvents, coatings, primers, adhesives, and special finishes
-
Inspect work quality and ensure Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention
-
Use high-impact vibratory tools for bucking/riveting
-
Perform tasks requiring climbing, balancing, crouching, and crawling
-
Work near energized sources (e.g., electrical equipment), with potential exposure to noise
-
Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
-
Work in confined spaces and use a respirator as needed
-
Lift/carry 10-35 pounds; engage in bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and standing
Required Skills:
-
Regular, predictable attendance required
-
1+ years' experience with work instructions, blueprint reading, and interpreting specifications in English
-
Perform routine production assembly on structural/mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems
-
1+ year of aviation/technical school experience required
-
Complete 9-10 weeks of New Hire Training to obtain required certifications
-
Ability to work in confined spaces and qualify for respirator use
-
Flexibility to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
-
Ability to handle high-hazard chemicals
-
Proficient with standard hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets) and high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, CAD/3D drawing programs, and Internet Explorer
-
Experience in bond and grounding measurements
-
Perform fuel tank sealing, structural work, and in-tank cleaning
