Summary:

• Applies finishes to aircraft furniture based on design specifications and engineering drawings, ensuring high-quality and safe outcomes.

• This role involves preparing, repairing, and finishing furniture, using various tools and techniques.

• Assists with process improvements and maintains a high level of quality, safety, and productivity.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of wood finishing experience.

• Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces.

• Computer literacy.

Desired Skills

• Aerospace industry experience.

• Familiarity with inspection and process specifications.

• Experience using Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques.
