Summary:

Applies finishes to aircraft furniture based on design specifications and engineering drawings, ensuring high-quality and safe outcomes.

This role involves preparing, repairing, and finishing furniture, using various tools and techniques.

Assists with process improvements and maintains a high level of quality, safety, and productivity.
Required Skills
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
2+ years of wood finishing experience.
-
Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces.

Computer literacy.
Desired Skills

Aerospace industry experience.

Familiarity with inspection and process specifications.

Experience using Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques.
