We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary:

  • Perform structural composite repairs in an FAA-approved Repair Station, following structural repair manuals (SRMs), component maintenance manuals (CMMs), aircraft maintenance manuals (AMMs), and approved airline/manufacturer repair instructions.

  • Collaborate with team members to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) on a wide range of structural and non-structural parts, including fiberglass, acrylic, composites, and metals.

  • Execute repairs and rework in line with engineering intent using electronic work instructions, specs, drawings, and MRB dispositions.

  • Perform multi-tasking and operate multiple machines where applicable.

  • Use mechanical and electronic precision tools to verify part dimensions; may conduct first article inspections.

  • Support quality assurance processes: inspect parts, initiate non-conformance reports, and maintain required certifications and quality records.

  • Interpret CAD/CAM models to support fabrication, rework, or repairs to engineering specifications.

  • Coordinate with Engineering to determine appropriate materials, processes, and specifications for non-metallic part repairs.

  • Comply with FAA Drug & Alcohol Program requirements and pass initial screening for repair station work.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of AOG experience (emphasis on Composite Repair, not just layup)

  • Structural Composite Repair Certification (TR009348)

  • Boeing 787 Dreamliner experience preferred

  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally on short notice for extended periods

  • Must be willing to work safety-sensitive roles requiring FAA drug/alcohol testing compliance

  • Travel flexibility required for operator maintenance support

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
