Summary:
-
Perform complex assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual or automated tools.
-
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components; replace defective parts as needed.
-
Apply knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair; assess functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
-
Operate specialized aircraft tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and cable tensiometers.
-
Execute complex structural work, including drilling, fastener removals, riveting, and system installations.
-
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications for structural modifications and repairs.

Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned tasks.
Required Skills:
-
High School diploma or GED required.
-
10+ years of on-aircraft heavy structural experience.
-
10+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
-
5+ years in an MRO/Repair Station/AOG/Travel MODS environment.
-
5+ years of experience in removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
-
Non-managerial, non-leadership role.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong communication skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency in task completion.
Desired Skills:
-
10+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
-
2+ years of composites experience
-
2+ years of Velocity and Radars experience
