PAY RATE: $33/hour

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

  • Shift: 2nd / 3rd shift (M-F, with potential OT and weekends)

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna

Summary:

  • Performs visual inspections of in-process and completed electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical components using predetermined methods and specifications.

  • Identifies structural flaws, defects, and missing welds, utilizing various measuring devices.

  • Accepts or rejects units based on quality standards and works from blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions.

  • Ensures compliance with statistical process controls and conducts line clearances between production lots.

  • Inspect parts and assemblies using drawings, CATIA, process specifications, and quality control requirements.

  • Perform dimensional inspections of components and assemblies.

  • Document and report non-conforming materials, hardware, software, tools, or assemblies.

  • Inspect vendor, subcontractor, and in-house manufactured parts for compliance.

  • Follow a structured sequence of inspections to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain and prepare quality records.

  • Support production flow by assisting and cross-training in Assembly Technician roles.

  • Employees may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.

  • Training and certification will be provided for any additional work.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: Familiarity with aviation manufacturing practices

  • Skills: Proficient in using measurement tools and reviewing engineering drawings

  • Preferred: Experience in Assembly and First Article Inspection (FAI)
