PAY RATE: $34/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed products, including electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical parts.

  • Use measuring devices (micrometers, dial indicators, scales, fixtures, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and inspection instructions.

  • Accept or reject defective units and document non-conformances.

  • Support continuous product flow by assisting other employees as needed.

  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and processes per drawings, CATIA, specifications, and test procedures.

  • Conduct dimensional inspections and verify quality using statistical process controls.

  • Document and report non-conforming materials, hardware, or assemblies.

  • Inspect vendor, subcontractor, and in-house parts/assemblies.

  • Perform line clearances to ensure proper material control.

  • Prepare and maintain quality records.

  • Cross-train and support other functions (e.g., Assembly Technician) as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2nd or 3rd shift availability.

  • Experience in 100% visual and dimensional inspection of parts produced on HAAS machines.

  • Familiarity with aviation manufacturing practices.

  • Skilled in using measurement tools and reviewing drawings.

  • Preferred: Experience in both Assembly and First Article Inspection (FAI).

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
