Summary:
-
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.

Receive and understand work assignments, perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA requirements. Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork accurately and timely.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

Properly tag and securely store customer property and equipment.

Follow SOPs for operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic mules, forklifts).

Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

Provide training to less experienced technicians.

Protect customer property (PTP).
-
Dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids) and maintain cleanliness in work areas.

Apply Lean/continuous improvement processes.
-
Use and maintain company tools and equipment; return items to storage after use.

Comply with safety rules, use protective equipment, and address unsafe conditions.

Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, track work, and charge labor.

Participate in flight tests as required for aircraft certification and final testing.
Required Skills:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large size aircraft.

Valid Driver's License required.

Working knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station, and quality control manuals.

Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
