Assist with invasive procedures and knowledge of these procedures.16. Competent in sterile technique.17. Competent in OR procedures and C-Arm operation.18. Alaska fluoroscopy certified or willing to obtain within 90 days. Computed Tomography:19. Responsible for care of equipment in this area.20. Responsible for record maintenance.21. Assist with invasive procedures and knowledge of these procedures.22. Active part in the preparation of procedure in this area.23. Consult with referring physicians.24. Able to perform venipuncture or willing to be trained within first 90 days.25. Follow standard precautions procedure.26. Alter routine protocols to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.27. Change contrast levels per age group.28. Set up and run automatic injector.29. Familiar with contraindications of contract.30. Competent in tele-radiology transmission.31. Competent in sterile technique.32. Actively assists in supply inventory and ordering.33. Daily/Weekly QC Lead Technologist (If Applicable):34. Will work in conjunction with Imaging Manager and Director, supports development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.35. Reviews, edits, corrects, and validates PACS to ensure accurate patient procedure image labeling.36. Maintain organized and productive workflow within the clinical area.37. Assign daily responsibilities for front line staff.38. Respond to staff concerns promptly.39. Works to identify and solve operational problems.40. Oversee new staff orientation.41. Serve as an expert resource for staff in clinical specialties as well as organizational policies and procedures.42. Maintain best practices to ensure optimization of imaging protocols. SECONDARY FUNCTIONSAttends department/organizational meetings, in-services, and disaster drills.Willing to participate and serve on departmental, organizational, and community committees and teams. Qualifications:Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required Current ARRT in Radiography Current ARRT in Computed Tomography Experience Required Able to perform all diagnostic exams as related to assigned modality.
