13 weeks | Varied | 9-hour shift | 27 hours/weekly guaranteed

Please contact a recruiter for full details.Seeking experienced paramedics for flight EMS service in rural Alaska. Air ambulance serves 15 bush communities in western Alaska within 20 to 45 minutes from Nome in fixed-wing transport. Includes transport to Anchorage for a higher level of care as needed. Job requirements include village transportation via small ATV, snow machine, and other off-road vehicles possibly in extreme weather conditions. Travel in small aircraft either fixed wing or possibly rotor.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have experience in emergency airway management and trauma care.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
- May have EMT III if only ground transport.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS are required.
EMR System: Cerner knowledge/experience preferred.
Shift: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Vaccination Requirement: COVID and Flu vaccine required. ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS PLUS BOOSTER. FLU VACCINES ARE ALSO REQUIRED AND EXEMPTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
