Collaboration ManagerWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Collaboration Manager to manage partnerships across Australia, New Zealand, Korea and other countries within our international region as required. The role is to lead and shape collaborative initiatives, between GE HealthCare and external partners which includes academic institutions, clinical researchers, and other innovation-driven organizations. This role is pivotal in identifying funding opportunities, securing grants, and managing long-term engagement relationships that drive innovation and operational efficiency.Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Collaboration DevelopmentLead, identify, initiate, and structure collaborations opportunities with academic institutions, hospitals, and other external stakeholders to provide innovative healthcare solutions to the community.Align collaborative opportunities with the company's strategic priorities and innovation roadmap.Facilitate and coordinate projects and programs implementation during collab activities.Develop partnership models that balances scientific value, outcome potential, and operational feasibility, creating strong and sustainable partnerships between healthcare industry players and GE HealthCare.Funding & Grant AcquisitionProactively scout and evaluate national and international funding opportunities (e.g., government grants).Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, offering solutions and coordination during the process.Maintain a reliable database of funding sources and track application outcomes within the timeline and deadline.Ensuring gaps and issues in grant applications are attended on time.Engagement & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary liaison between the company and its collaboration partners.Coordinate and facilitate regular communication, governance meetings, and progress reviews with collaborators.Ensure alignment of expectations, deliverables, and timelines across all parties.Monitor and report on the performance and impact of collaborative projects.Internal Coordination & ReportingWork cross-functionally with segments, research. regulatory and legal to ensure seamless collaboration execution.Drive communication flow across teams to ensure alignment and clarity.Provide strategic insights and updates to senior leadership on partnership outcomes and opportunities.Maintain organised documentation and records of all collaboration agreements and funding activities.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.Proven experience in handling multiple stakeholders and managing collaborations, preferably in the med tech, biotech, or healthcare sectors.Strong understanding of grant funding mechanisms and experience in successful grant writing.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.Familiarity with IP, regulatory, and compliance considerations in collaborative research.Desired CharacteristicsStrategic thinker with a passion for innovation and translational science.Skilled communicator with the ability to bridge scientific and business perspectives.
