Duties

  • You will monitor and troubleshoot all Marine Corps Electronic Security Systems, Intrusion Detection System, alarm, mass notification and CCTV systems installed and annunciating at the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department.
  • You will receive and process incoming fire alarms, 911 calls, emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire, medical emergencies, airfield emergencies, and environmental and hazardous materials incidents.
  • You will dispatch personnel and apparatus to the scene of emergencies, record pertinent data, events, and logs, and initiate pre-arrival instructions to callers for fire, medical, and police emergencies.
  • You will monitor status and availability of police, fire, and medical field units to assure an appropriate response is made.

) Receiving and processing incoming fire alarms, 911 calls, emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire, medical emergencies or incidents, airfield emergencies and environmental and hazardous materials incidents; 3.
) Monitoring status and availability of police, fire, and medical field units to assure an appropriate response is made; 4.
) Preparing and maintaining a properly documented alarm control log of all alarm conditions to include setting, activation, deactivation, and other pertinent alarm information.


GS-5 Level:
