Job Posting: Experienced Engineer

Position Overview: The Engineer will play a critical role in coordinating with all necessary disciplines, as directed by the General Manager and Director of Operations. This role requires taking the lead in executing projects to meet cost targets, implementation timelines, production support needs, and addressing field issues with products under their control. Utilizing your expertise, you will develop conceptual information into new processes and improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project execution to meet cost, schedule, and production support requirements.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Implement and enhance processes based on conceptual information.
  • Address and resolve field problems with products.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in the metal stamping industry, deep draw, tooling and fixture design, machinist roles, process engineering/sheet metal assembly, and welding techniques (spot/projection/MIG).
  • Experience with automation, robotics, vision systems, and mechatronics.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IATF Quality Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, and SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Ability to visualize, read, and interpret 3D CAD data.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting 2D automotive drawings.
  • Understanding of CAD and CAE principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
