We are looking for a skilled Steel Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate estimates for steel erection and miscellaneous steel projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with proven experience in the metal fabrication and erection industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to produce comprehensive estimates.
• Interpret and analyze Structural and Architectural drawings.
• Prepare precise take-offs for materials, shop hours, and field hours.
• Handle project bids of varying sizes, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Review contracts and revise the scope of work as needed.
• Create job files, complete bid forms, and submit proposals to General Contractors.
• Track bid submissions, following up with clients to ensure timely communication.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in estimating for steel erection and miscellaneous metal projects.
• Solid understanding of steel fabrication and installation processes.
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to follow up with clients diligently.
