As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, you will help build the platform that sets the standard for cloud computing. Your responsibilities include supporting service operations, making prioritization decisions, iterating and innovating on large‑scale globally distributed systems, ensuring 100% availability, and maintaining the reliability and security of AWS cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Support AWS service operations while adhering to the highest security and compliance standards. Make difficult prioritization decisions and iterate on solutions for large‑scale distributed systems. Design and implement advanced functionality while maintaining 100% availability guarantees. Investigate operational issues, build services, and support customer cases. Develop deep technical expertise in a structured environment that promotes learning and growth. Qualifications Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or one of the following certifications: A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security. Current active Top Secret (TS) or higher security clearance; must maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph during employment. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience with highly scalable systems. Experience in compute and storage server architecture and design for large‑scale applications. Experience managing or implementing system health, performance monitoring, capacity planning, or process improvement and automation. Understanding of functional programming concepts.
