Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Novi, MI 48374

Duration: 13 Weeks+ with (potential extension to long term)

Shift: Mon Fri | Standard Day Shift | 40/hrs weekly

Position Overview:

The MA will assist physicians with patient care, perform clinical and clerical duties, and maintain smooth daily clinic operations. Candidate must be comfortable working independently in a professional outpatient/internal medicine setting.

Job Description:

• Assist physician with patient examinations and treatments
• Take and record vital signs
• Document patient information accurately (Epic preferred)
• Prepare and clean exam rooms
• Perform basic clinical procedures as directed
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling or front desk support as needed
• Order and stock medical supplies
• Maintain organized and clean work environment
• Follow Standard Precautions and PPE guidelines
• Ensure HIPAA compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year recent Medical Assistant experience
• BLS Certification REQUIRED
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong patient communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in Internal Medicine / Primary Care setting
