Do not submit candidates living less than 90 miles from facility. **This is for Advanced Medical Imaging** Position Summary: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I (MRI Tech I) provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment. Performs MRI procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies. Uses knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals. Modifies technical settings and adjusts scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize unnecessary exposure. Minimum Qualifications: Required Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) American Heart Association BLS Certified MRI Technician certification Previous MRI experience Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff. Assists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures. Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. Retrieves prior images, studies, written orders, and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of MRI exams and procedures. Performs routine inspections and maintenance on scanner and archives imaging data. Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times. Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment with limited supervision. Creativity, problem analysis and decision making. Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality. Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment. Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight. Schedule Requirements This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Shift: Full-time 4 x 10s Monday through Friday, shift times that may vary, starting as early as 6:00 a.m. and ending as late as 7:00 p.m.
