Responsible for tracking financial performance of revenue, operational expense, forecasting, and variance analysis for Sunoco LP. Assists and supports short and long-term margin and expense planning activities for Sunoco LP’s Terminals segment. This position reports to the Manager of FP&A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial review reporting deck for Executive Management Support the company-wide annual budget planning and subsequent monthly forecasting process for all expenses and revenue Coordinate with field analysts, operations management, and project managers to accurately budget and forecast revenue and operational expenses Conduct operating expense and margin variance analysis including budget/forecast vs. actual, quarter vs. quarter, current year vs. prior year Regularly present results, forecasts, and budgets to commercial, operations, and executive leadership Provide expense analysis support to operations and commercial departments Work closely with Accounting, HR, Insurance, Tax, and other departments to ensure accuracy of financial transactions Participate in team objectives of maximizing efficiencies with reporting, automation, and optimization Contribute to overall Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team goals as needed Assist with ad hoc requests and tasks requiring support for analysis as needed. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field The Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Must be highly proficient with MS Excel High level of communication skills, both verbal and written Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks Strong attention to detail with the ability to proof work for accuracy Self‑starter with ability to learn quickly An Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Vet Energy Transfer is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against qualified applicants on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
