Job Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician
Location: Charles City, IA, 50616
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7.00 AM-4.00 PM
Job Description:
- Daily testing of samples received from production.
- Timely completion of test to meet the established testing time.
- Following GMP documentation guidelines.
- Basic problem solving skills and demonstrate trouble shooting ability.
- Contribute to the teams productivity goals.
- The colleague should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Position requirements:
- Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.
- Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply
- Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines
- Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation and facility
- Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work
- Understanding of how to use pipettes
- Preparation of media and reagents
- Understanding of dilution schemes
- Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds
- BA/BS in Science related field or AA plus one year experience preferred (but open to High School Diploma along with experience with gathering data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.)
