TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Identify the operational needs of production, define and write work methods

• Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications and norms and standards.
• Assess technical feasibility based on engineering data.
• Visualize and implement manufacturing and assembly processes and processes.
• Perform technical functional analyses (functional sizing).
• Establish the production flow according to the tasks to be completed and the duration of these tasks.
• Determine the optimal work sequences.
• Produce and modify assembly books for the manufacture or assembly of parts and components.
• Produce and modify visual aids to improve understanding of the work to be performed in production.
• Determine the tooling requirements (portable tools, jigs).
• Establish the amount of labour required and the technical skills required to perform the work.
• Perform technical coaching with less experienced methods agents.
• Implements procedures and plans to ensure the quality of the work performed.

Plan and implement changes in production and ensure the coordination of pre-production

• Apply the principles of change management, configuration control, and effectivity.
• Analyze the technical impacts of changes.
• Perform financial analysis and bid assistance.
• Understand and apply the concepts of mock up.
• Master the first production control processes (First Article Inspection).
• Ensure a technical liaison between the different departments.

Support the daily activities of production

• Evaluate the technical content of support requests.
• Investigate the source of problems and propose effective solutions.
• Write repair plans.
• Exercise a technical advisory role with the production.

 Discipline :

• Production support: This is the discipline that allows you to exercise a technical advisory role with production.
• Understand the requirements of AS 9100 standards for the responsibilities of this position. Respect the company's QMS procedures and apply the tools when carrying out tasks.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

US citizenship is required for this position.

Education :

• You have a college or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing or a related discipline;

Technical Skills :

• You have several years of experience in production.
• You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have a good 3D visualization and have a good analytical mind.
• You are familiar with computer-aided drawing software (Catia V5).
• You are proficient in SAP.

Soft Skills :

•  You have good logic and a good mechanical mind.
• You are an excellent team player, you are known for your perseverance and judgment.

Language(s) :

• You are proficient in English, both orally and in writing.
