Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using modern Android frameworks and best practices. Own features end-to-end-from requirement analysis to release and post-production support-while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (preferred) and Java
• Translate business and UX requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
• Implement MVVM/MVP architecture, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix production issues with clear root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams
• Write unit tests and support automation to ensure code quality
• Maintain proper technical documentation and follow secure coding practices
• Participate in code reviews and enforce Android development standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Android SDK, Kotlin/Java
• Solid understanding of Android app lifecycle, threading, and memory management
• Experience with Jetpack libraries and modern Android architecture
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development
• Experience debugging using Android Studio, Logcat, Firebase Crashlytics
• Knowledge of material design guidelines

Good to Have

• Experience with Coroutines / Flow, Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• Exposure to Jetpack Compose
• Experience with app publishing on Google Play Store
• Familiarity with Firebase, analytics, and push notifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
