Responsibilities Translate antenna specifications into real design. Predict performance with simulation and verify with real-world data. Interface with multi-disciplinary product development team in support of design, integration and test (including radar system, microwave, electrical, mechanical and software design engineers). Develop antenna concepts, identify the best approach, optimize the design using simulation tools (HFSS for example), fabricate the hardware through outsourcing, test antennas for S parameters and patterns. Prepare design documentation, create test plans and test reports. Present design concepts, antenna performance, tradeoff studies to team members, management and customers. Design, test and evaluation of antennas & RF systems for automotive radar systems. Qualifications Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are: Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. degree in engineering, mathematics, or other technical field Computer based simulation or analysis HFSS, CST (or equivalent) proficiency Graduate-level coursework and/or hands-on project experience in antennas Strong documentation skills Why join Aptiv?
