Required Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:

• Strong proficiency in designing and developing APIs using RESTful principles.
• Experience with API development frameworks such as Node.js, Express, or Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Expertise in database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of API security standards, including OAuth2, JWT, and best practices in API authentication and authorization.
• Proficient in handling API versioning, scaling, and optimization for performance.
• Familiarity with cloud-based API management platforms such as AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or Apigee.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

Secondary Skills:

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for API deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or JMeter for API testing and performance benchmarking.
• Familiarity with GraphQL or SOAP services
