Hybrid (3 days onsite nearby San Gabriel, CA)
Open to candidates willing to relocate
Direct hire: 108-145K DOE


Participates in the research, development, and implementation of restaurant technology systems to support business operations and growth.
This position participates in designing, optimizing, developing, debugging, and quality controlling these systems, integrating them with third-party applications and data warehouses.
The Engineer is involved in developing, testing, and releasing program changes and new features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goal.



Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree in IS or related field or equivalent experience required
* Minimum 5 years of IS service design and development experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
* Must be highly skilled and experienced in API creation is THE essential part along with RESTful, and cloud
* Huge plus: Completed Xenial Academy or equivalent POS system certification



Knowledge:


* Knowledge of POS systems architecture
* Knowledge of computer hardware and software
* Knowledge of networking, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and firewall / PCI regulations and rules
* Knowledge of T-SQL, Access, SQLite database
* Knowledge of Windows scripting (VBScript/PowerShell)
