The College of Education is hiring an Application Developer Analyst I. This role involves supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of educational applications and interactive learning experiences by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and assisting throughout the software development lifecycle. Highlights Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of web-based, mobile, and interactive educational applications. Use programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python to develop and maintain application features. Support integration of multimedia assets, APIs, databases, and third-party services. Participate in application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment activities. Support development of educational games, simulations, and interactive learning experiences including UI/UX implementation. Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic designers, researchers, and project managers in multidisciplinary teams. Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate project status and challenges. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree or a high school diploma with two years relevant experience, with possible substitution by technical training or coursework. Preferred experience includes mobile app development for iOS and Android, source control systems like Git, knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing, familiarity with cloud services, APIs, AI concepts, and educational technology development.
