Overview We’re looking for a talented Application Developer to join our agile development team and play a key role in building and enhancing our integrated benefits underwriting and management platform. This role blends hands‑on coding, database development, system documentation, and ongoing application support — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and end‑to‑end ownership. How you'll make an impact 1. Application Development Write and develop code based on user stories provided by the Business Analyst (BA) team. Collaborate with BAs and other developers to support new application development for our integrated benefits underwriting and management platform. Participate in Agile Development processes, including regular meetings with BAs to review new requirements, progress on existing work, and testing. Conduct thorough Data Exploratory Analysis before coding to identify potential issues with existing data not outlined in the specifications. 2. Application Support Maintain and enhance existing applications within our benefits administration platform. Implement new capabilities and fixes as needed. 3. Systems Documentation Update systems documentation to reflect changes in requirements and use cases when modifications occur. 4. Database Design & Scripting Design and optimize relational database schemas based on defined requirements and data analysis. Create views and stored procedures for new or existing applications and reports. Analyze and refactor existing views or stored procedures as data or requirements evolve. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
