Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
Develop internal cybersecurity-focused web applications that support and expand Caterpillar’s service offering.
Collaborate with product architects to resolve technical issues associated with our products and services.
Provide daily operational support and maintenance for one or more products needed to deliver the team’s service offerings.
Interface with internal process partners and vendor support staff to resolve technical problems relating to products supported by the team.
Execute development driven by agile user stories and features for supported products.
Achieve sprint efficiency and deliver milestone goals.
Perform testing during development processes and QA prior to production deployment.
Qualifications (What You Have)
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering/Architecture, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
Entry‑level skillset in application development with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, HTML, TypeScript, SQL, React, and Flask.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with the use of various AI models (GitHub Co‑Pilot, Claude, Chat GPT, Grok, etc.).
Experience developing web applications focused on delivering customer requirements.
AWS Cloud experience.
Good knowledge of software development processes, security assessments in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and secure coding.
Top Candidates Will Have
One or more professional certifications from an accredited institution (CISSP, CCSP, GWEB, Linux, Python, etc.).
Working knowledge of Caterpillar Cyber Security Policies and Directives.
Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
ServiceNow incident/request management experience.

Pay Range
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary based on job level, location, experience, and performance. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
