What does an Applications Developer do at Swire Coca-Cola? In this position you will create and maintain programs, either on premise or cloud based. You will be assigned work based on the need from the organization as requested in the work intake process. You will be responsible for developing any applications, stored procedures, data tables, pipelines, and interfaces as the need arises. Your general focus will be Web Based Development using asp.net, though there may also be on premise applications that may need to be created or maintained. This position is expected to communicate with the DevOps, Data Warehouse, and Data Governance teams to ensure that the best solution is created. Documentation and training may also be performed by this position ensuring that the end user gets the best product possible in a timely fashion and you will work with the DevOps manager to help prioritize their workload.Responsibilities: Develop new applications as needed from work intake requests. Ongoing maintenance of existing applications, either in Azure or On PremiseCommunicate project status with project team members, stakeholders and senior management via frequent meeting cadence, email, etcManage assigned development needs to meet budget and timeline constraintsResolve any reported issues and concerns raised by the Swire organization related to IT development tasks assignedManage Develops relationship with Swire Organization, ensuring everything being requested is fulfilled and that any issues are taken care of in a timely mannerIdentify, prioritize, and manage to completion all assigned work intake requestsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree required – IT certifications or other IT related field of study/degree may be acceptable or equivalent work experience4 years’ experience creating web-based applications4+ years’ experience in web development using Visual Studio (VB or C#)Experience using several programming languages including asp.net, C#, VB.net, SQL, html, CSS, Java, etcProgramming Method Experience (e.g., SCRUM, AGILE, Waterfall, RAD)
