Title: Application Developer

Responsibilities:
This is a senior applications developer position that defines, develops, tests, analyzes and maintains software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes the following:
Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of the business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications needed to develop new software programs and applications.
Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to required specifications.
Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of existing APD applications as necessary.
Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Liaise with network administrators, database administrators, systems analysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems with applications/programs.
Provides maintenance and support to existing APD business applications.
