We’re supporting our direct client with a key Senior .NET / SQL Developer opening, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance, multi‑tier applications and databases.

Role: Senior .NET / SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain Microsoft .NET applications on a day‑to‑day basis, following object‑oriented and object‑relational design principles (5+ years).
• Design, create, and update database objects including tables, views, indexes, and other schema components in MS SQL (5+ years).
• Write and optimize ad‑hoc SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application features and reporting needs (5+ years).
• Analyze and resolve system incidents, enhancement requests, and defect tickets within defined SLAs, including fixing errors within 2 business days.
• Process release tickets with deadlines ranging from 1 hour to several weeks, ensuring quality, traceability, and minimal production impact.
• Work with relational databases in OLTP and DSS environments, focusing on data design, modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning (5+ years).
• Create and manage Crystal Reports to support business and operational requirements (3+ years).
• Utilize Microsoft version control and database design tools to manage code, branching, and deployments across environments (5+ years).
• Implement user‑defined requirements, analyze systems for operational efficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, business requirements, process documentation, and test artifacts (5+ years).
• Test application code and system changes regularly to ensure stability, performance, and adherence to requirements.

Core Skill Set

• 5+ years of experience with object‑oriented and object‑relational design, web technologies, XML, HTML, and Microsoft .NET.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with MS SQL as both a database developer and data modeler, including data design, performance tuning, and complex query development.
• 5+ years working with relational databases in OLTP/DSS environments and high‑performance, multi‑tier systems.
• 5+ years using Microsoft version control tools and 5+ years using database design tools in enterprise settings.
• 5+ years creating and maintaining technical documentation and 3+ years creating and managing Crystal Reports.
