Overview
The Application Development Manager – Application Development is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering application development initiatives at CamaPlan. This role blends technical project leadership with hands-on development when needed, ensuring software solutions are delivered securely, on time, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage application development projects from initiation through delivery.
• Work closely with developers across C#, .NET, APIs, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Angular, and
Azure-based systems.
• Provide hands-on development, troubleshooting, and code support when project needs require it.
• Use Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, sprints, releases, documentation, and project tracking.
• Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and results.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with business priorities.
• Manage multiple workstreams, including schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and data protection standards are met.
• Coordinate testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality releases.
• Support evaluation, mentoring, and coordination of application development team members as
needed.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in application development and/or technical project management.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, APIs, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Angular, and Azure
environments.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for project tracking, sprint management, and release coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects while contributing directly to development when
required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Graduate degree or higher preferred.
