Job Overview EZMetrology is a technology company that designs, manufactures and installs specialty measurement instruments for industrial applications, primarily automotive. The EZMetrology team is a dynamic composition of sales, marketing, hardware and software designers that work together to bring new technologies to end users worldwide.  EZMetrology application engineers act as the primary technical resource for our sales force. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with good communication and inter-personal skills, as well as a strong technological background, to assist in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction. Knowledge of physics and/or mechanical engineering is a plus.  Responsibilities and Duties A background in mechanical system and tolerancing is a plus. Applications Engineer will test software applications prior to deployment while providing reasonable customer feedbackUphold an expert level of product knowledge and applicationApplications Engineer should be able to articulate products to both technical and non-technical usersRespond to functional and technical elements of RFIsApplications Engineer should be able to retain required information, comprehend and convey customer requirementsMaintain accurate records of target installations, projects, and contactsApplications Engineer will travel to installation sites to perform start-up, integration and training services Qualifications Required:BA/BS in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent related experience Experience 1-2 years in Engineering or Product Testing Proficient in Microsoft Office Skilled at Technical Writing and Documentation Available for Travel (estimate 30%)  Preferred: Customer service or Sales support experienceSpoken Languages are a plus
