Semiconductor Equipment Integration Engineer


New Iron is seeking a talented and driven Application Engineer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of automation products and solutions for manufacturing operations.


This position focuses on solutions in manufacturing execution, factory performance, equipment performance, and advanced process control.


The ideal candidate has knowledge of semiconductor factory systems including MES and EA’s.


Job function may include:

Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solutions integrated with factory and business systems for customers.

Collaborate with product development teams to design new solutions addressing market demands.

Work closely with customers' IT and systems administration teams to deploy and configure EA solutions.

Develop and deliver training materials and demonstrations for EA applications.

Perform software installations.

Contribute to and manage the organizational knowledge base.

Respond to customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and assist in gathering requirements.


Should Have:

Proficient in C#, .Net, databases, and SQL.

Familiarity with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards.

Experience as an equipment automation developer in semiconductor, solar, display, or PCB manufacturing.

Hands-on experience with factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC).
