This is a high-visibility, on-site role where you’ll work directly with clients, lead commissioning efforts, and bring complex systems to life.If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy solving real-world automation challenges, and want to contribute to large-scale campus projects—this role is for you.What You’ll Do:Design and develop control programs for BMS (Building Management Systems) using function blocks, scripting, and graphical tools.Build and enhance Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation) applications.Lead on-site commissioning, startup, and system validation.Troubleshoot PLCs, field devices, and control systems during checkout.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful implementations.Create intuitive graphical interfaces for end users.Develop simulation tools and execute test scripts for system validation.Perform QA/QC checks on PLC and SCADA code before delivery.Deliver training sessions and provide post-deployment support.What You Bring:Must-Have Skills:Strong expertise in Rockwell PLCs & Studio 5000.Experience developing/updating Ignition SCADA projects.Proven commissioning experience with client-facing responsibilities.Solid background in PLC programming & industrial automation.Knowledge of HVAC systems (highly preferred / niche skill).Nice to Have:OSHA 10 Certification (preferred due to electrical environment).Your Background:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.4+ years of experience in Industrial Controls / Automation.Why This Role Stands Out:Work on large-scale, new facility builds for major campuses.Direct client interaction and high ownership of projects.End-to-end involvement: design → testing → commissioning.High-impact role in mission-critical BMS applications.Competitive hourly rate (up to $91.36/hr).Work Environment & Requirements:Fully on-site role in Saint George (no travel required for this assignment).Standard schedule with flexibility during commissioning phases.Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to starting.Who You Are:You’re a proactive problem-solver who can work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and clients.
