What you will be doing: The IT Application Support Coordinator will join the talented team at the Riverview School District. You will be responsible for maintaining all district software platforms that support district instruction, assessment and administrative functions. Essential Functions: Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, all software platforms that support district classroom instruction and student assessment Conducts and coordinates training on the proper use of instructional applications for district personnel Collaborates with IT piers to maintain software platforms and databases that enable district administrative functions to include end user support of the Student Information System Coordinates submission of state mandated reporting as designated by the district to include Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) collections Responsible for troubleshooting assigned 3rd Tier escalation of applicationsupport tickets and coordinating with 4th Tier partners as the local liaison for resolution Responsible for daily management of assigned help desk ticket queues with adherence to established thresholds for response Verifies local connectivity, permissions, and functional access to administrativeand instructional client-server applications as well as private and public cloud services Gathers criteria for custom modifications to existing administrativeand instructional applications and provides analysis and coordination with partners on related projects Creates customized data extractions and reports for administrators Keeps accurate records of application conventions and configuration Curates the application environment of the district and ensures interoperability between platforms Contributes to contingency planning and provides procedures in the preservation of database repositories in the context of business continuity and disaster recovery Plays a primary role in making recommendations, developing plans, and spearheading implementation of application upgrades Supports application publishing and cloud integration initiatives Generates the specifications for licensing of applications; assists in identifying software needs in preparation of the annual budget Attends designated district board meetings to support conferencing and streaming capabilities. The Technology Director may offer flexible hours at their discretion to accommodate any after-hours tasking. Other related duties as assigned by the Technology Director. Required Education and Experience: College degree preferred; high school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience required 2 years of experience directly supporting enterprise applications in a medium-sized environment (multi-location, 10+ servers, 500+ nodes, 500+ users) Experience with SQL query and database-extracted reporting preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory administration and permissions preferred Familiarity in supporting applications in a multiple OS environment preferred (Windows, MacOS) Ability to conduct software application training for small groups (5 -30 people) Understanding of computer and network operations Experience with state mandated reporting desired. Pennsylvania Information Management Systems (PIMS) experience preferred Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications Excellent organization and problem-solving skills Must be able to pass Child Abuse History, Criminal, and Fingerprinting clearances #J-18808-Ljbffr
