Application Support Tech Lead – Data & Analytics Platforms Citi is seeking an Application Support Tech Lead to join the Data & Analytics Platforms Operations team within the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology (PBWMT) organization. This role places the successful candidate at the center of full-stack technology compliance, infrastructure oversight, and risk mitigation for an enterprise-class analytics environment. Serving as a subject matter expert in Citi technology, security, and data policy, you will coordinate with system administrators and cross-functional stakeholders to drive meaningful improvements in platform standards, safety and soundness, and user outcomes. This is an opportunity for a technically grounded professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to make a measurable impact across one of the world's leading financial institutions. Responsibilities: Lead the assessment and ongoing monitoring of infrastructure and software compliance across the Data & Analytics Platforms environments, including end-of-vendor-services and end-of-life obligations, to maintain full-stack technology standards. Coordinate system administrators and platform users to execute compliance remediation plans, ensuring timely resolution of identified risks and alignment to corrective action requirements. Identify security vulnerabilities and technology risks across the environment, assess their business impact, and propose and implement targeted mitigation strategies. Act as a subject matter expert for Citi IT and data policy and platform deployment standards, advising teams on compliance obligations and improving user risk outcomes through policy-informed guidance. Define systems scope and objectives for complex application enhancements by conducting in-depth analysis of business processes, system logic, and industry standards. Translate analysis findings into clearly documented requirements for development and compliance programs. Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional technology teams to determine system impacts, align integration requirements, and ensure goals are met across parallel workstreams. Mentor and coach junior analysts by sharing technical expertise, allocating tasks appropriately, and building the team's capability to deliver at pace. Produce clear technical documentation — including system configurations, process guides, operational standards, and audit response materials — for both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop and manage project plans and corrective action plans, driving them through to completion against defined milestones and deadlines. Qualifications: 6 or more years of experience in application support, technology operations, or a related technical discipline, with demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-impact workstreams. Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze system logic, pinpoint root causes, and design effective, scalable solutions. Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to guide cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and build productive working relationships across technology and business areas. Experience leading or contributing to requirements gathering for multiple large-scale development or compliance programs running concurrently. Experience working within server environments, specifically RedHat or SUSE Linux, and with relational databases including Teradata, Oracle, or MSSQL. Working knowledge of network security principles and firewall design fundamentals, with an understanding of how network controls interact with application and platform environments. Familiarity with IT risk frameworks, audit processes, or operational risk governance programs within a regulated financial services environment. Exposure to analytics and visualization platforms such as SAS/Viya, SQL, Tableau, or Visual Analytics, applied to compliance monitoring or operational reporting. Hands-on programming experience in SAS, Linux shell scripting, or Visual Basic within a technology operations or compliance context. Foundational knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools and methodologies, including version control, change management, and release processes.
