Base Salary plus bonus - 70K - 85K depending on experience plus possible relocation to the area
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Our client is seeking an Applications Engineer that will work closely with customers to understand their project requirements and find the most suitable solutions from their customizable HVAC product line. As a key member of their engineering team, you'll work directly with the company's experienced professionals to innovate, design, help develop and modify products that deliver both exceptional performance and streamlined manufacturing processes. You'll be the technical bridge between their customers and their product lines, ensuring that they deliver customized, high-quality products that meet their clients' unique needs.
What You Bring to the Role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate's degree with equivalent job experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.
- A strong understanding of mechanical processes and cost estimating.
- Exceptional communication skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, creative mindset with a high degree of mechanical aptitude, team player.

- Technical Knowledge of Mechanical Processes: A deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles is essential. This includes knowledge of system design, material properties, and production techniques. You should be able to apply this knowledge to troubleshoot, optimize, and innovate solutions.
- Project Management and Process Improvement Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish, are crucial. This includes coordinating with various teams, managing timelines and budgets, and driving continuous improvement in processes and product quality. Being detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently is vital for success in this role.
- Technical Sales and Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences is key. This includes providing technical support to sales teams and customers, preparing accurate quotations, and understanding client needs to recommend appropriate products. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills are also important to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales.
What You'll Do.
- Technical Support & Sales Collaboration: Provide expert technical guidance and quotation support to our sales reps and customers, helping them select and apply the right products for their projects.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Product Development & Innovation: Collaborate with our design and fabrication teams to develop new products and improve existing ones, bringing fresh ideas to life with precision and creativity.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in processes and products, leveraging your mechanical expertise to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' products to maintain our competitive edge and innovate effectively.
