Applications Engineer - Industrial Motion & Controls

Join our team as an Applications Engineer and play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our valued clients. 

 

Our client is a premier distributor and value-added integrator of industrial motion and controls products and solutions in our region. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction drives us to continuously push the boundaries of what's possible in industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Sales Engineers on customer visits throughout our territory.
  2. Conduct product demos showcasing our industrial automation, motion, and controls solutions.
  3. Provide patient and positive assistance to customers, helping them understand our products and solutions.
  4. Develop expertise in our electro-mechanical product line, including servo motors, drives & controls, stepper motors, actuators, gearboxes, robotics, variable frequency drives, and more.
  5. Apply servo, motion, and industrial control technologies to customer machine designs.
  6. Engage in daily activities such as determining customer needs, providing system design assistance, preparing quotations, and offering startup assistance.
  7. Investigate customer requirements, resolve issues, and expand product sales.

Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Technical degree in automation, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
  2. Exposure to electric servo, motion control, PLC, actuator, precision gearbox, precision rail, and robotic industrial technologies.
  3. Genuine interest in technology and electro-mechanical systems.
  4. Ideally, 1 to 2 years of experience in automation technologies, industrial machinery, or robotics.
  5. Must be a US Citizen.
