The hourly wage for this position is $18.00 to $22.00, based on experience.

Qualified Candidates will be able to:

- Work closely with Senior Electricians to develop or improve current knowledge of various shipboard electrical tasks. \n
- Learn how to read electrical drawing/diagrams. \n
- Develop key skills to execute clean and efficient wiring in cabinets. \n
- Learn to properly route cables throughout cableways. \n
- Use calibrated tools such as Multi-Meters and Meggers \n
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- \n
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and within work sites as required. \n
- Inventory received material. \n
- Help maintain a clean worksite. \n
- Assist senior technicians with drilling, cutting, and modifying various shipboard items. \n
- Be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds \n
Position Requirements:
- \n
- US Citizenship. \n
- Must meet requirements to obtain a Federal Secret Clearance. \n
- High School Diploma or equivalent. \n
- Minimum of one (1) year of marine/maritime related experience. \n
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks. \n
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. \n
- Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment. \n
- Ability to work aboard ships which includes frequent climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces. \n
- Must have a Valid U.S. Driver's License. \n
- Must pass drug screening as a condition of employment. \n
This position is located in San Diego, CA.
