Role: CDP Data Engineer (Tellium CDP & BigQuery Expertise)

Location: Dallas, TX / Tampa FL. (2 days from office)

Job Description-

We are seeking a highly skilled CDP Data Engineer with expertise in Tellium CDP and Google BigQuery to support our customer data platform (CDP) initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing and prospective customer profiles, performing segmentation, and building robust data pipelines to integrate Tellium CDP with BigQuery. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven marketing strategies by ensuring high-quality customer data is available for personalization, targeting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Data Management & Segmentation:

• Analyze existing and prospective customer profiles to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and implement data-driven segmentation models to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Work closely with marketing teams to define audience segments for personalized campaigns.

Tellium CDP & BigQuery Integration:

• Implement and manage Tellium CDP to centralize and unify customer data.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines to connect Tellium CDP with Google BigQuery.
• Ensure smooth data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment processes between platforms.
• Optimize data workflows for real-time or batch processing as required.

Data Engineering & Solution Development:

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes for customer data ingestion and processing.
• Develop data models and schemas to support customer analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance in alignment with company policies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance CDP capabilities and automation.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

• Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
• Leverage SQL and Python (or other scripting languages) for data transformation.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Tellium CDP for customer data management.
• Expertise in Google BigQuery, including SQL query optimization and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools for data ingestion and transformation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for data processing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) for data storage and processing.

Data & Marketing Knowledge:

• Understanding of customer data models, segmentation, and identity resolution.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and customer engagement strategies.
• Experience working with first-party, second-party, and third-party data.

Soft Skills & Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering, CDP implementation, or analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing, analytics, and IT teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with data streaming tools (Kafka, Pub/Sub) for real-time processing.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services beyond BigQuery.
• Prior experience with AI/ML-driven customer segmentation and personalization.
