Job Description:
The IT Hardware Depot Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and deployment of IT hardware. This role involves diagnosing hardware issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hardware issues on desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT hardware.
Manage inventory of hardware components and ensure proper documentation.
Deploy and configure new hardware for end-users.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the depot.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in IT-related field preferred.
Proven experience in IT hardware repair and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
