About the Role:
This role is a unique opportunity to lead program management initiatives from prototype to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, program management, and automotive manufacturing, with expertise in APQP processes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full lifecycle of program management, from prototype to customer launch.
Manage engineering changes, ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.
Resolve quality concerns promptly and ensure up-to-date documentation.
Coordinate communication between production, quality, engineering, and tool room departments.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, offering technical support and tracking correspondence.
Present cost-saving opportunities and monitor program progress and budgets.
Lead and mentor Program Managers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Design, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 10 years in engineering, tooling, or program management; 5+ years in a supervisory role in manufacturing, preferably automotive.
Knowledge in SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, APQP, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation.
Willingness to travel as needed.
