We have partnered with an Architecture and Planning company in the Salt Lake City, UT area to provide them with an Architectural Specification Writer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Architectural Specification Writer:
#1. Must have experience in the production of Outline Specification, Design Development and Construction Document Specifications of commercial scale projects.
#2. Must have experience with Masterspec and Speclink applications
#3. Must have experience with necessary codes and regulatory standards.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years
Requirements of the Architectural Specification Writer:
- Proven experience in creating Outline Specifications, Design Development Specifications, and Construction Document Specifications for large-scale commercial projects.
- Skilled in conducting product research.
- Familiarity with Masterspec and Speclink software is preferred, or a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn these tools.
- In-depth understanding of engineering systems, equipment, technology requirements, and detailing as they pertain to construction.
- Knowledgeable about relevant codes and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
- Experience with specifying sustainable materials is a plus.
- Preferred membership with CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) as a Certified Construction Specifier.
- Must hold a valid architecture license

- In office opportunity with Hybrid possibility.
