They are currently seeking an Area Property Manager in the Muskegon area. The ideal candidate will be organized, high energy and passionate to be apart of a growing entrepreneurial organization.Responsibilities:Explore cost reduction opportunities, both long term and short-term benefitsMonth end reporting and BVA completionPrepare annual budgetImplement and achieve monthly leasing objectivesReview daily rent increases in Real PageResolve customer issuesMaintain positive customer service approachLead on-site office compliance of new policy and procedure rolloutLead interviewing, hiring, employee training and developmentEnsure properties meet Best in Class (BIC), this includes maintain curb appeal and property standards in accordance with operating budget and capital improvement plansCollaborating with maintenance supervisor on projects and maintenance needsVisit all properties in region at least once per weekComplete quarterly site and file auditsKeep abreast of any policy or law changesFair Housing ComplianceLead staff engagement in Learning Management System (LMS) within Real PagePreparing office schedules and task assignmentsImplement and administer community policiesCoordinate and direct team members to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual property goalsEvaluate ways to improve services and facilities, including quality and efficiencyQualifications:Associate’s Degree2+ years of property management experienceProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Real Page or related programs, preferred Strong work ethic and conflict resolution skillsPassion for leading team developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of sales and marketing conceptsAbility to meet deadlinesAxios Professional Recruitment - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
