Job Title: Skilled CAD Technician (Roadway & Utilities Final As-Builts) Position Overview:
We are seeking a Skilled CAD Technician with strong experience in drafting utility layouts, roadway plans, and final as-built drawings. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and surveyors to produce precise and compliant CAD deliverables that support design, construction, and post-construction documentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare utility, roadway, and final as-built drawings from survey data, redlines, and field markups.
• Draft and update plan sheets, profiles, and details in Civil 3D/MicroStation.
• Ensure drawings meets project specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Organize and manage digital CAD files for efficient project workflow.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to verify accuracy.
• Revise and update drawings throughout the design and construction process.
• Maintain consistency, precision, and attention to detail across all deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MicroStation and civil 3d (Civil 3D preferred) with experience in roadway and utility drafting.
• Strong knowledge of as-built preparation standards and survey-to-CAD workflows.
• Ability to interpret survey notes, utility records, and construction plans.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication for collaborating with field and office teams.
• 4+ years of CAD drafting experience in civil, utility, and roadway projects.
• Experience with MicroStation CAD platform A Plus.
