Role Summary:

We're seeking an Administrator at the Middleburg Surgery Center. This role is responsible for the overall operations and financial performance of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), ensuring clinical excellence, compliance with regulatory standards, physician engagement, and operational efficiency across two operating rooms. The Administrator will lead a high-performing team to achieve strategic goals and optimize patient care.

Middleburg Surgery Center is a modern, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Middleburg, Florida, delivering high-quality outpatient care across orthopedics, pain management, ENT, podiatry, and plastic surgery. Role Summary

The ASC Chief Executive Officer (ASC CEO) is the senior-most leader for the ambulatory surgery center, with full accountability for operational excellence, financial performance, clinical quality, and physician partnership strength. Operating as the primary business leader for the center, the ASC CEO owns enterprise-level outcomes—including EBITDA growth, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and the development of a high-performing leadership team. This role goes beyond traditional facility administration. The ASC CEO is responsible for driving sustainable growth, scaling operations, and serving as a trusted partner to physicians, boards, and Compass Surgical Partners’ enterprise leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Financial & Operational Performance

    • Own full P&L responsibility and deliver on budgeted EBITDA targets

    • Drive case volume growth through strategic scheduling, block optimization, and surgeon alignment

    • Maintain labor efficiency and staffing discipline aligned with net revenue targets

    • Identify and execute initiatives that improve margin, throughput, and capacity utilization

    Ensure Clinical Quality, Safety & Regulatory Excellence

    • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements

    • Ensure clinical quality metrics meet or exceed industry benchmarks

    • Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce clinical errors and adverse events

    • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high reliability

    Build and Sustain Strong Physician Partnerships

    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for physician partners and key stakeholders

    • Drive physician engagement that supports service line growth and case volume expansion

    • Partner with Compass leadership to attract, onboard, and retain new physician partners

    • Strengthen trust, alignment, and long-term partnership value

    Lead High-Performing Operations

    • Optimize OR utilization and achieve targeted turnover and throughput metrics

    • Drive case cost performance through supply chain discipline and process improvement

    • Ensure consistent standards for facility readiness, cleanliness, and patient experience

    • Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans

    Develop a Scalable Leadership Team

    • Build, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team

    • Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards

    • Drive engagement, retention, and succession planning across key roles

    • Foster a culture of trust, ownership, and results orientation

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • RN License

  • Senior leadership experience running an ASC or comparable healthcare operation

  • Full P&L ownership with demonstrated success delivering EBITDA growth and cost discipline

  • Strong command of ASC operations, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and safety standards

  • Proven ability to build and sustain trusted partnerships with physicians and health system stakeholders

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing high-performing leaders

  • Data-driven decision maker with comfort using dashboards, KPIs, and financial reporting

  • Experience working with governing boards or executive leadership groups

  • Track record of driving operational scale, efficiency, and sustainable growth
